Liberty-Perry Community Schools and Wapahani High School has accepted the resignation of Wapahani’s Legendary Baseball Coach and Hall of Famer, Mr. Brian Dudley. Coach Dudley retires as Wapahani’s Baseball Coach with an incredible Career Record of 828-320 in 40 total seasons (39 years coaching plus 1 covid year). Coach Dudley led the Raiders in 1,148 total games as the Wapahani Head Baseball Coach and finished with a career winning percentage of .721. Over his 40 years of Coaching at WHS beginning in the Spring of 1984, the Raiders won 18 Sectional Titles, 13 Delaware County Championships, 8 Regional Titles, 3 Semi-State Titles, and 1 State Championship in 2014. Coach Dudley will forever be remembered for his hard work, love for his players, obsession to caring for beautiful Raider Field, and his attention to detail. Coach will continue to work for Liberty-Perry Schools and Wapahani High School in maintaining all of our High School and Middle School Athletic Fields. Thank you #2 for your dedication over the last 40 years at WHS as you have greatly influenced thousands of students in the classroom and on the Baseball Field.
