On Tuesday, May 14, senior Nick Cook signed his letter of intent to run track and cross country collegiately at Indiana University Indianapolis. Cook leaves Wapahani holding the school’s all time cross country record, 800 meters, 1600 meters , and 3200 meters on the track. Cook has qualified for the state meet in cross country his junior and senior seasons while competing in the state track meet as a junior. Cook starts his journey to the state meet this evening on the track tonight at the Delta Sectional.
Cook chose IUI due to the proximity of it being close to home and the connection with his new teammates and coaches. We wish you the best of luck and are looking forward to watching you excel at the next level!
