That's a wrap on Camp Invention 2024! We have enjoyed watching these students design, create, collaborate, compete, laugh, make new friends, & so much more. It has been an amazing week with these campers & they are going to ILLUMINATE the world with their creations and designs!

Day 3 of Camp Invention included water games, creating our game balls, learning how to saw, glow screens, and inventions to help in a flood or drought! These kids are minds are illuminating with designs and we are lucky to have some amazing inventors!

Camp Invention day 2 is finishing strong! The things these kids create and design never ceases to amaze us! The future is BRIGHT! Check out these amazing students and all that they are achieving!

We had a great first day at Camp Invention! We have over 70 kids creating, thinking, imagining, and collaborating! Can't wait to see what all they accomplish by the end of the week!

Wednesday's MS home baseball game vs. Northeastern has been canceled so the MS kids, coaches, and fans can attend the HS baseball sectional at Frankton and support the varsity Raider baseball team as they open sectional play vs. Monroe Central at 5:30. Good luck Raiders!

The WHS Riley Club celebrated one of our own Braves this year with the Hearts for Hattie event! Thanks to the amazing contributions from the community, we were able to provide Hattie and the Mills family funds to continue helping our sweet girl conquer and grow! Tonight's MS baseball game at Jay County will be played at Runkle Miller Field located at 515 Blaine Pike, Portland, IN. First pitch is 5:30.

Tonight's MS softball game vs. Centerville has been cancelled. The game has been rescheduled to June 12 at Centerville. There is no softball game or practice tonight for SMS.

Tonight's MS baseball game at Yorktown has been cancelled. There is no make up game scheduled at this point and there will be NO baseball practice tonight. No MS baseball game at Yorktown tonight.

Camp Invention was an absolute HIT last year and we cannot wait to host it again this year at SES! It will be on May 28th- 31st from 8 am - 4 pm. We only have a few scholarships left, so if you would like to sign up, email jeastham@libertyperry.org before they run out! #LPSelma

Monday's home MS softball game vs. Blackford is canceled due to a WHS varsity softball conference makeup game. The SMS softball team will now travel to Hagerstown on Monday for a 5:30 start to make up this week's rained out game. The bus leaves SMS at 4:10 on Monday.

After 25 years in education at Liberty-Perry Community Schools, we wish Mr. Rausch the best of luck on his next chapter. Mr. Rausch will begin as the Assistant Superintendent of Operations at Hamilton Southeastern Schools in July. As he and his wife begin to relocate to a new community, he would like to express thanks to all of the students, staff, and families that he has had the privilege of working with as they have made a lasting impact on him and his career. He will carry the lessons he has learned with him as he begins his new role. We wish Mr. Rausch and his wife the best of luck with his next chapter. The board will be releasing information on the superintendent position opening in the near future.
